We’re Changing Things UP…

Happy Wednesday. It’s midweek. Yay! For Mel and I, Wednesday is known as “Fun Wednesday” because it’s typically Survivor night. Not sure why anticipating Survivor makes our day fun, but there you have it. One of life’s simple pleasures. Mark your calendars: the new season airs Wednesday, September 26th at 8:00 p.m. The theme is David vs. Goliath.

Recently, Mel and I met with a literary agent who gave us some great working advice, so we’re changing things up at Belied Outcast Legends. As we become more serious about this writing journey, we have a need for better organization and control. My writing life is like scrapbooking. I start out with an organized pile of pictures, add a few accessories, buy a few tools, and then wham! the projects explodes into an unorganized mess with remnants of ideas everywhere. If you scrapbook, you know what I’m talking about <grin>.

Honestly, I think our disorganization has more to do with growing pains. Mel and I both feel our vision is beginning to crystallize, allowing us to hone in on specifics as it relates to our Belied Outcast Legends theme. We’ll talk more about that as time goes on. One of our greatest desires is to connect with others on a more personal level. Instead of article-type blogs, we’re going to be a little more informal so we can interact with you … or ramble at thin air. (I’m a mom, it’s happens).

If you’re new to our site, we’re a mother-daughter team who’ve been around the block of life a few times. We’ve endured our share of knocks and enjoy being there for others, talking about life, and creating from the heart. We hope being here offers you a positive experience because the world is certainly full of enough negative. So, have a look around, tell us what you think, and say hi. We hope to see you around <waving>.

Have a great week!
